This narrow lot design using shed roof extensions on either side to take better advantage of a 35’ wide lot. This adds space to the stairwell and living area while still allowing most of the house to remain well clear of the side lot setbacks. The result is a good balance between the narrowness of the lot and the narrowness of the house.

We took our ReadyHouse 1900 and fed it a high-calorie diet. The result was a pleasing plumping of the midsection, allowing us to take better advantage of a wider lot (while still maintaining a relatively svelte profile overall).
