We are a boutique architecture firm specializing in residential and small commercial projects. As a small team, we’re able to offer high-touch, hands-on interactions with our clients–the people you meet are the same ones actually working on your project. This emphasis on client involvement and engagement helps us create the best work.

Our residential work focuses on smaller homes that emphasize livability and energy-efficiency. Our designs are often streamlined, modernized versions of traditional forms, merging time-proven designs with modern lifestyles. 

Our approach to commercial projects emphasizes alignment with the goals of the developer or builder. We prefer to be involved at the concept stage, as we believe our early contributions can aid the overall flexibility, efficiency, and profitability of the project.

Lizzie Hedrick is an architect licensed in Oregon and Colorado. She has helped brands like Nike and Fjallraven create new retail spaces, made old homes new again, reimagined offices for hybrid work styles, helped develop luxury condominiums–from low-rise to high-rise, designed a winery built with straw bales, created more patient-friendly healthcare experiences, and designed dozens of new homes. Although modernism will always hold a dear place in her heart, she’s learned to embrace (and even love) more organic, charmfunk environments. 

Erik Johnson is a designer with a long history of bringing big-picture, innovative thinking to a wide range of challenges. His aesthetic favors modern, minimalist updates on traditional forms, with the goal of creating buildings that not only fit the site and landscape, but also reflect the vernacular of the region. When not thinking about architecture, you can find him behind a camera, designing or re-designing something, or outside chasing gravity.
