This new-construction office building is located in Northwest Crossing, one of Bend’s original (but still growing) planned developments. The client, a doctor who provides concierge medical services, needed a space for his practice as well as additional leasable space for investment income. With a very minimal construction budget, we relied on proportion, repetition, and a material palette consisting of just fiber cement cladding, CMU, and cedar to enhance the aesthetic appeal of this simple form.

Also shown in concept is an alternative design comprised of two flat-roofed rotated bars, a decidedly more modern look that uses bold color accents to add a more dynamic presence to the neighborhood.
