This project began with two goals: create two separate dwellings on a narrow lot without exceeding 2000 total square feet, and make the secondary dwelling (ADU) as large as legally possible. Strongly influenced by the agricultural archetype, the result looks like a small farmstead. The main house includes a small office downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs, while the ADU combines the living, dining, and working areas in an open space.
